BIO
Sasha-Paige is a Singer-Songwriter from North-East London.
Currently living in London, England a place she has lived in for the best part of her life. Besides spending a few of her teen years, more transatlantic and residing in the American state of Illinois. Travelling back and forth between both countries from 2006-2008 (16-18 years old).
Beginning her singing journey from as young as primary school (junior school) singing in school showcases as well as alongside live orchestra accompaniments in The Barbican, in a public-school collective called “Dream Spaces”. She enjoyed performing arts and participated in anything and everything music orientated including playing instruments such as the traditional Caribbean “Steel pans” and singing in school plays and assemblies. One of Sasha’s main musical influences was, growing up listening to British girl groups like the Spice girls and Sugababes and American pop stars and R&b starlets like Britney Spares, Mariah Carey, and Aaliyah. In her later school years she joined an electric soul choir called “OverTones” they wrote their own original songs and recreated and merged songs such as Pinks’ “Get the party started” and the Eurhythmics “Sweet dreams” together to create a fun original current (at the time) sound. The more singing she did the more she realised how much music meant to her and that she wanted to make a career out of it. Sasha grew up in a very musical family, her maternal Grandmother was passionate about singing and dancing and her Grandfather was a Dee-jay and would make music in his spare time. Her paternal Grandparents also loved music coming from a strict Catholic church background and singing in church choirs.
Currently Paige, is studying Music Performance and production at The University Of East London.
